NEW INDIA — Fights COVID-19
Is has been less than a year that the world is facing the global pandemic Covid-19, The Novel Corona.
24th March — a can be called ‘black’ day for 3 trillion economy-INDIA. Hon’ Prime minister Shri Narendra Modi, live on the national television, announced a nationwide lockdown for 3 weeks. From the 25th of march to the 14th of April.
While families were busy rejoicing their so-called ‘family time’ and enjoying a variety of dishes with their loved ones, the frontline army of India — Doctors, Army, Police, Provision Stores, Cleanliness workers stood on their feet throughout those days, helping someone may be one of us.
While the citizens were ready to move out on the streets from 15th April’20, slowly & steadily the pandemic was in action around each and every corner of the Indian map. One after the other states and cities had started reporting cases of the global pandemic.
The brave man — Hon’ PM Shri Narendra Modi, yet again presenting his righteousness, took a very difficult to take ‘decision’ i.e. Slipping the whole country to the second phase of lockdown. Seen nowhere in history, the country of charming roads witnessed a huge span of emptiness. People confined in their own homes, without work. The numbers of COVID cases kept rising every single day, in fact, every single hour. Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamilnadu, Karnataka- came out as the worst-hit states by the pandemic.
In the midst of tons of problems like importing PPE, hydroxychloroquine medicine, Testing Kits, Masks, the Gujarati Lion inspired a lot of Indian firms and organizations to fulfill these demands. In no time, India put a ban on the export of Hydroxychloroquine and started a tremendous production. As there was no discovered the treatment for the pandemic, this medicine was used to relieve the patients for a while.
The most complex network of the world — Indian railways, for the first time in more than 64 years, came to a halt. The coaches were transformed into the isolation wards — an inspirational move for the world. No sooner did the developed nations got a need for medicines, instead of approaching china — the source of the virus, asked for a helping hand to India. Our PM did instantly started the export of medicines along with essential services wherever required.
India started hosting the meetings of SAARC and other important meetings on video calls. The world realized the power of “NEW INDIA”, finally accepting its new leader, an INDIAN — none other than our Honourable Prime Minister “Narendra Modi”. His decision of 4 phased lockdown did help vastly to bring in control the rising rate of COVID-19. But now with the passing time, a very smart decision by Hon’ Prime Minister, to reopen the lockdown.
And so started the UNLOCK — 1.0.
